We won’t pay a claim for a condition if, before you took out the policy or added the children’s cover:

  • The eligible child was already suffering from or diagnosed with the condition.
  • Either parent had sought counselling or medical advice in relation to the child being affected by the condition.
  • Either parent was aware of an increased risk of the child being affected by the condition.

  • The eligible child was already having symptoms relating to, was awaiting investigations or being investigated for, or had been diagnosed with, the condition.
  • Either parent had sought counselling or medical advice in relation to the eligible child being affected by the condition.
