AIG has been voted best performing critical illness provider by CI Expert.
Based on a 40 year old male, non-smoker, with a 25 year term and cover for £50,000 including child cover – CI Expert still puts AIG's enhanced cover as the best of the best.
Obviously, not all insurance companies charge the same for their protection, they defiantly don't protect the same number of conditions or pay a claim on the same severities. Matching this to the family and or family traits to give relevance is key.
More than this some will or wont protect our children as a part of the plan. If the plan has children's protection (just like Mum or Dad's protection) this can differ widely on the critical illnesses protected and the severity for a successful claim.
